"I'm Masika, and writing about myself is not really my strong suit. But I'll try my best! For over a decade I've been capturing memories in the Cowichan Valley. I've been so lucky to have clients turn to friends and watch families grow during this time. Our island is the perfect place for photos whatever time of year it is. We have mountains, lakes, rivers, fields, and forests and I love to explore and play with light to create beautiful portraits. When I'm not working you can find me with my family and my two hairless cats. I enjoy a good London Fog and a warm sunny day. Old historical villages and tropical beaches call my name and I can't wait to get out travelling again.
